Supporting Neurodivergent Students in the Classroom

Supporting Neurodivergent Students in the Classroom
THE NEED: One in five students in Australian classrooms requires disability-related support, yet only 4.7% of teachers have formal training to meet these needs. Around 15-20% of students are neurodivergent (e.g. autism, ADHD), meaning many children in our classrooms are at risk of being misunderstood or excluded.
By merging clinical and educational expertise, the Minds in Bloom Learning keynote/workshop series will equip teachers and early childhood educators with practical, evidence-informed strategies to support every learner. Together, we can ensure that your school continues to lead the way in creating classrooms where every child feels safe, seen, supported, and stretched.
Our series of workshops are tailored to the unique needs of your students and teachers, with topics including:
Setting Up Safe & Supporting Spaces for Neurodivergent Children
Supporting Neurodivergent Students to Engage in Learning (can be Literacy or Numeracy focused)
